The optional VirtualLink service provides secure, seamless integration between the eMedius suite of products and your company's existing ERP, MRP or manufacturing systems.

For the OEM...
VirtualLink OEM integrates eMedius data with any internal device database for ongoing updates of component information, automatically feeds preferred suppliers or channel partners with requests, and integrates with existing CRM or PRM systems. It provides complete management of Bills of Materials, and merges your Approved Vendor Lists and Supplier Scorecards into the eMedius Virtual Databook. It even auto-detects your company's internal part numbers, quality ratings, and the status of purchasing negotiations, so you don't have to look them up.

For the EC Supplier...
For the EC supplier, Virtual Link EC integrates with existing CRM and PRM systems, providing a better way to manage leads and sales in a secure environment. It also allows full customization of any eMedius function to work with existing business rules, and provides an API to seamlessly integrate with existing ERP and EDI systems.

For the Channel...
For the channel, VirtualLink provides a link into the eMedius VirtualDatabook from the distributor's website for a custom search on your parts. The joint solution gives customers full access to eMedius' rich parametric search functions, enabling customers to find the right components, then select, sample, or purchase them directly from the distributor in a real-time, web-based environment.
